GLENN ANDERSON
Glenn has twenty-five years of residential building experience as a
general contractor and developer. He has extensive experience with
the renovation of properties that have foundation, structural and other
issues as well building additions and new homes up to eight
thousand square feet. He built twenty-one homes in two culdesac
developments in Glastonbury, Connecticut. While studying
engineering at The University of Connecticut, Glenn worked as a trim
carpenter to pay for tuition and shortly after entered residential
building full-time. Glenn is a member of the National Association of
Home Building (NAHB).
LAURENCE NEWQUIST
Larry has fifteen years of finance experience with the Dime Savings
Bank of NY, Shawmut Bank, United Financial, Home Mortgage
(HMAC), and Small Business Capital Corp. (SBCC). Larry founded
SBCC--a technology leasing company--in 1990 which was sold to
venture-capital backed LeaseMarket, Inc in 2000. Larry also
co-founded HMAC in 1996, a $30 million-a-year residential mortgage
company that was sold to Altara USA, also in 2000. Larry has a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Skidmore College and
an MBA from the Institute of Construction Management & Technology.
He is a member of The Connecticut Green Building Council.
THE PARTNERSHIP
Larry joined long-time friend Glenn in 2001 to run the financial and
marketing side of the company. Glenn is now able to focus solely on
field operations with an emphasis on quality and efficiency in each
custom home project. They have worked on over 75 building projects
together.
